초록
The advancement of information technology in the 21st century has made many aspects of human life more convenient, but it has also brought with it new forms of crime and social risks. Sexual crimes combined with digital technology have expanded the scope of crime to online spaces, threatening victims' lives as social beings as well as their daily lives. Accordingly, this study analyzed the definition, characteristics, changing patterns, and resulting social risks and problems of digital sexual crimes, and presented the current status of domestic and international responses and practical response measures. Digital sexual crimes are not a technology problem, but a human problem, a problem of culture, awareness, systems, and cooperation. As technology develops rapidly, technology for people and laws that protect people are required, and if a society that respects people does not grow together, our society will repeat the tragedy of another ‘Nth Room’. Now is the time to recognize the damage done to one person as a problem for the entire society and to build a sustainable structural response system.
