초록
This study analyzed Mao Zedong propaganda paintings manufactured especially focusing on the Cultural Revolution since new China was founded and political and administrative oil paintings posted online being produced since Xi Jinping came to power from the viewpoint of ‘propaganda of power and symbolic politics’. The study examined the aspect that Chinese political power was expanded and at the same time, grasped the meaning of rhetoric about the mechanism that symbolic politics of the present Xi Jinping government operates and the men of power and authorities in it by analyzing the flow and trend of symbolic politics shown in the days of Mao Zedong who was the first leader of Chinese socialism, and Chinese society of Xi jinping who recently hinted at a prelude for long-term seizure of power by one person. In addition, it compared and analyzed how the Chinese public accept the images which became the tools of ‘propaganda and symbolic politics’ in ‘political space’ created by the modern nation and ‘meta space’ called online in modern times.
