초록
Purpose : This study examines the role of interactions between fandoms and entertainment agencies in addressing misinformation and cultural appropriation, providing strategic insights for the entertainment industry.
 Methods : Topics with a high likelihood of misinformation were quantitatively identified using BERTopic-based topic modeling. The relationships among key variables were analyzed through structural equation modeling(SEM) based on data from 224 participants with experience in fandom activities.
 Results : Contrary to initial expectations, misinformation was found to have a positive effect on fans’ perceived sense of control. Additionally, a higher sense of control led fans to respond more sensitively to cultural appropriation issues and to exhibit greater awareness of such matters.
 Conclusion : This study provides practical insights into how the interactions between fandoms and entertainment agencies can contribute to addressing misinformation and cultural appropriation.
