초록
Purpose: This study was intended to identify the impact of awareness of patient participation culture on patient safetynursing activities among nurses in small-to-medium-sized hospitals. Methods: A total of 181 nurses working in GMetropolitan City were selected. Data were collected from August 7 to September 30, 2023, and analyzed using anindependent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression. Results: The mean scores forawareness of patient participation culture and patient safety nursing activities were 2.95±0.95 and 4.50±0.41,respectively. A significant correlation was found between awareness of patient participation culture and patient safetynursing activities (r=.51, p<.001). As subcategories of awareness of patient participation culture, nursing practiceenvironment (r=.36, p<.001), information-sharing activity (r=.38, p<.001), and attitudes toward patient participation(r=.47, p<.001) were also significantly correlated with patient safety nursing activities.
