초록
Currently, in 2009, about 43.7% of the population in Luxembourg is of foreign nationality. Although the number of foreigners has been on the increase since the end of the World War II, immigration and integration of immigrants are not treated as serious social issues in Luxembourg. Acturally, Luxembourgians show a favorable attitude toward immigrants. The reason may be summarized as follow: First, the Christian Social People's Party[CSV], the ruling party which has long-term seizure of power since the end of World War Ⅱ stick to friendly policy for immigrants in political stablity. Second, the economic and labour market situation is need foreign labours. Third, immigrants are mainly from EU countries where share Christianity and other cultural racial cmmon points with Luxembourgians. Forth, many of immigrants in Luxembourg are respected by Luxembourgians with their highly-paid, specialized jobs. Fifth, Luxembourgians believe that the chic and refined immigrants' consumeroriented culture has caused to rise the Luxembourgian living standards.
