초록
The potential of animation-based multimedia learning program(AMLP) in environmental education was investigated in this paper. The study was designed to develop environmental learning program, and to evaluate its educational effect on elementary school students. The theme taught for the fourth graders was ‘alien plants and animals'; meaning and kinds, ecological effects and introducing purposes and routes of alien animals and plants. The program was characterized by web-based flash animations and animated database with images and movie clips. The study concluded that AMLP allowed to increase understanding of environmental learning concepts.
