초록
This study aims to examine what Korean language learners should learn to restore symbols of presentation materials in natural sentences. How to verbalize the compressed content of visual materials in the presentation is significant. Symbols are a typical way used to compress content. Therefore, restoring symbols to complete sentences is an essential element of presentation ability. This study analyzed the process of Korean language learners organizing visual materials and using them to present them. In particular, we focused on how they expressed symbols in vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns in the target language. The significance of the study is that it reminded us of the importance of verbalizing symbols in the Korean language presentation.
