초록
Lee Chau Hou’s Critique of Critical Philosophy(1979) is a very ingenious attempt to complement Kant’s thought by Marx’s thought and supplement Marxism’s shortage by Kant’s thought from a new historical materialistic interpretation of the core principles of Kant’s thought which inherent in the overall scheme of Kant’s epistemology, ethics, aesthetics and historical & political philosophy. Lee Chau Hou presents a new interpretation different from the mainstream’s point of view of the modern history of western thought from 18th century to the contemporary by way of combination of <Tools-Social Structure>(Marx) and <Culture-Psychological Structure>(Kant). This paper purports to analysis the core logic of Lee’s Critique of Critical Philosophy which constructs a new system of historical materialistic anthropology of tools-society-culture-psychology by way of combination of Kant and Marx, and to review critically its attainments and limitations comparing its performance with Lee’s late thoughts.
