초록
Foreign students studying at colleges in Korea often experience difficulties. They experience language and cultural difficulties as well as difficulties in understanding lectures and interactions with other students. These difficulties are not only because of individual students'lack of ability. To solve this problem, debate education is needed.
 Debate requires overall ability to communicate, think, and interact with others. This study analyzed the results of a survey targeting Korean and foreign college students and designed a model of debating class. In the model, a stage to deal with the content of the topic, which the learner finds difficult to understand during the debate, and a stage that is related to critical thinking, a method to deal with the content, are established. And to improve the effect of evaluation, peer evaluation is implemented during the debate and a stage to review peer evaluation from the evaluatee's point of view is established.
