초록
This study examined the notion of story structure and story grammar. In addition, it tried to clarify a teaching-learning method and educational meaning about how the story structure education can be used in the Korean reading instruction for the subject of a folk tale. Under the condition that the story structure plays an important role in reading and understanding types of the story structure, Korean intermediate-level learners recognition about it were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that most of the learners recognized some peculiar events and actions, specially beginning parts and events and actions of the conclusion by paying their attention but their recognition was lower in other various important events and actions between the beginning and conclusion parts. It is understood that the result appeared because learners pay their attention to the beginning and conclusion parts and some points in which they are interested when they recalled stories. This study emphasized the use of story structure as a method to understand texts overall and perform reading more recognizably in important parts of events. And also, it suggested the use of various question l
