초록
In this research, we applied ‘Web-based discussion model for value inquiry' to group discussions of 46 boy students in the 10th grade. Six bioethical issues including ‘genetically modified objects', ‘artificial insemination', ‘using personal genetic information', ‘experimental animals', ‘embryonic stem cell' and ‘euthanasia' were discussed through ‘Web-based discussion classroom' for two months. After discussions, we examined students' change in value inquiry abilities using students' writings on the boards of each value inquiry step, self-reflecting evaluation sheets, and further interviews. Through analyzing and integrating individual cases of seven selected students' change in value inquiry abilities, we found there were remarkable advances in ‘identifying and clarifying of value problem' and ‘suggestion of alternatives' and progresses in ‘clarifying and understanding value conflict' and ‘selecting alternative'. ‘Collecting material related to conflict situation' and ‘Final value judgement and affirming it' were maintained in high ability.
