채용 과정에서 정보의 비대칭성 문제는 우수한 인력을 선발하기 위하여 해결해야할 부분이다. 신입 지원자들은 자기소개서의 절반 이상을 차지하는 리더십, 자원봉사경력, 전산조작능력, 해외경험 등을 기술하는 과정에서 허위 혹은 과장된 정보를 제공하는 것으로 조사되었다. 취업난이 지속되면서 입사를 위해 최종학력을 조작하는 사례마저 발생하고 있으며 이것은 심각한 사회문제로 대두되기에 이르렀다. 치열한 경쟁 하에서 지원자들은 채용담당자들의 구미에 맞춰진 허위, 과장된 입사서류를 작성할 수밖에 없는 현실에 직면하게 되는데, 지원자가 제공하는 허위정보에 대해 채용담당자들의 체계적인 검증방법과 비대칭적인 정보에 대한 다양한 분석이 요구된다. 허위정보를 제공한 경험이 있는 지원자들의 개인적 성향을 분석한 결과 주식투자에 대한 관심도, 조기졸업 및 학업우수자가 되기 위한 열정, 본부부서 선호에 대해 유의미한 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 허위의 신호보내기를 차단할 수 있는 실체적 방법에 대한 논의도 필요한데, 이것은 지원자들에게 합리적인 비용을 부과할 수 있는 채용프로세스의 개발과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 허위정보를 사전에 차단할 수 있는 방법으로 증명서 제출의 의무화, 평판확인, 사례형 질의 등을 들 수 있다. 그리고 구조적 면접, 행위기술면접, 합숙면접, 동세대면접평가, 블로그평가, 네트워크평가 등의 다양화된 면접기법을 통해 허위정보를 사후적으로 통제할 수도 있다. 허위 정보에 대한 인사담당자들의 상관관계 연구와 사전적, 사후적 조치들은 지원자들의 비윤리적인 행위 욕구를 줄이고 설령 그러한 욕구가 일어나더라도 쉽게 벗어날 수 있는 채용시장을 형성하는 촉매제가 될 것이다.

In this test for the effect of misinformation and mental reinstatement on accuracy of recall in children, misinformation or neutral informations was presented to each of 80 five- and 80 nine - year - old children(Total：160). Two days later they were asked to recall original information in one of two conditions; free recall or mental reinstatement. For 5-year-old children, mental reinstatement enhanced memory performance and increased the accuracy despite the presentation of misinformation. For 9-year-old children, there was no significant difference between free recall and mental reinstatement condition. For younger children, mental reinstatement may be an effective way of enhancing memory performance.
